Super Sentai

I've been a Power Rangers fan since forever... I must admit I've not liked all the seassons (I hate lost galaxy and fuck you Andros for killing Zordon!!!) but I have found something better than that.
If you want something cool, go to the source; The power Rangers are based on the Super Sentai series that air in japan... the fist one came out in 1975! They rock and are way funnier... Anyway, here is a link that'll take you someplace where you can learn more about the Super Sentai

Still no lyrics.... Im still not in the mood.

well annie, boo hoo, not to disrespect teachers, but mine used to say that simpsons were violent, and video games too, and well, video games made me the fine specimen of geekines i am today...wait, you migh have a point here...
anyway, power rangers and mindless violence are part of growing up, any kid who tries to summon a zord is a stupid kid, period. btw guaji, you are a geek, you knew that? yeah, you did, but what the hell...
super sentai is like classic stuff, and the forever red episode was like watching the ultimate can of whoop ass being opened on some sorry monster's ass, poor thing must have peed on its pants.
keep on rocking.

Erm... let's see, what words should I use?
Ok.. the thing it's simple for you and it might be. I love video games as well the thing is that everybody is looking at the issue from the wrong side. If kids watch power rangers o whatever TV show is on right now that involves violence is not that they're gonna become killers (and be careful they might) the thing is that they miss a very important part of their life at that age: Nice and calm games... Ex.: last week I had prepared three centers to play; center #1 with books to look at, center #2 with playdough and center #3 on the rug with big blocks. So I asked them "what center do you wanna go first?" and they all said to the rug, i said "Why? what are you going to make there?" and they all said guns to fight like power rangers, or SPD something...

I'm not saying is not fun, it is fun for all of you, and for a kid is even funnier 'cause that's all they know right now. What they don't know is that they are missing a huge part of their childhood because of violence through TV shows. And yes, growing up involves so much more than just nice and quiet games, and yes they should learn that sometimes bad things happen in life as well, but don't you think they should not grow up thinking that everything in this world is hate and anger, 'cause if you think they should then we should teach about.. idk... wars between countries? or abortion? or sexual abuse?

Disculpa por el sermon, pero bueno, supongo que alguien como tu sabra porque lo digo, y como teacher me toca decirlo.

wow, take a chill pill my friend, i understand your point, but did you see that moving along? yup, that was sarcasm train going home with my previous post.
As to what i think, i think parents should stop blaming tv for being a bad nanny and start being parents themselves, as i said, i grew up slaying monsters in final fantasy and ninja gaiden, spent my childhood in the first modern war televised (the first gulf war) and two coup de etats, and laugh away my puberty with clasic tom and jerry? and i turned out ok didnt i? why? cause my parents and my teachers educated me, instead of complaining about what a miserable world i was growing up.
anyway annie, i totally respect and admire your job, but let's not blow away out of proportion my friend, it's just a silly post about super sentai.
P.S. As for your kids, next time they are playing to be power rangers, tell them that if anyone breaks a bone, they will have to tell zordon to heal them, the prospect of crying and nobody caring should be enough :P
